About Plangon

Australian Plangon (Antique and Modern Doll Collectors) Club Inc.

We collect Dolls, Bears, Toys & other Collectables

Our members collect, discuss, show, and sell dolls, bears, toys, and other collectibles from as early as the 1800's through to the present day. These include Pedigree, Kader, Barbies, Reborns, Cabbage Patch - a huge range from around the world.

Meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month (except January).  Starting at 2pm. at St. Philip's Church Hall, 84 Galway Avenue, Broadview SA

At our monthly meetings we have volunteer Speakers who will give a talk on their collection with coffee, tea and biscuits at half time.  Members can hire a Trading Table to sell their items.  This is always popular as the range of what Members have to sell is very varied.  Usually at our June meeting we hold a Charity Auction/Sale where members bring along dolls, bears, and collectables that they no longer want, to be sold with the money raised going to our Charity for the year.

Each year we have an Exhibition, open to the public, where we can display some of our collections and also buy and sell.  This event is also very popular.

Along with the ability to hire Trading Tables, members also receive a quarterly magazine displaying dolls from Popular Choice and Display, Members' articles, and upcoming events.

Annual membership (renews 1st February each year) Adults - $30

Junior membership (under 16 years old) - $15

Family membership (for those living at the same address *one magazine quarterly*) - $35
